With our Protech Weapon Training Programs, we offer a wide range of traditional martial arts weapon to train with.
We train with these weapons to improve Eye-Hand Coordination, Upper Body Coordination, and Upper Body Strength.
We use the safest means of training possible, typically using special padded weapons to provide a fun, but safe
training environment.
Sshang Jeol Bong (Single & Double Nunchucku)
This training was developed primarily for all of our
"Karate for Kids", but many of our adult students have shown an interest and love for this training as well.
It gives students a solid foundation in the basics of the Ssahng Jeol Bong and helps them understand how this
exciting weapon works. The material taught in this course was taken from several different backgrounds, pulling
the best and most effective techniques from each. As with other weapons the benefits included improved upper body
development, better eye-hand coordination, increased concentration, and a great deal of fun. We are sure you will
find this training to be both challenging and extremely enjoyable.
Bahng Mahng Ee (Single Stick, Double Stick, & Disarming)
This course highlights the most popular techniques
of the Filipino stick fighting systems, as well as incorporates aspect of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean martial
arts. This stick training gives the students the basics in just about any weapon system. It also helps develop
hand-eye coordination, and is great physical exercise.
Jahng Bong (Long Staff)
This training offers one of the most effect long range weapons used in early Korea.
It is a combination of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese techniques which allows us to use the best of each style.
Besides learning the beautiful weapon, the benefits includes increased self-defense skills and tremendous upper
body strength, as well as improved concentration, coordination, focus, and self-confidence.
